Every home is different. Generally we can clean the exterior windows with out entering your home. However there are some exceptions, some window screens can only be removed by opening the window and removing from the interior of the house. If you see clips or pins on the windows that is a good sign that we will need to remove them from the inside before the cleaning. Some second story windows and windows with an overhang on the window frame also require us to remove them from the inside. What if you break my screens during removal?

Because of our experience we understand how to remove the many different types of screens we have encountered over the years and know not to force anything in or out of place. Screens become brittle in the Arizona sun. Some customers have screens have plastic corners which have a limited life span. Screen Repair and Solar Screens FAQ

How long do window screens usually last in Tucson?

With Tucson’s strong sun and dust storms, most window screens last around 7–10 years. Screens in direct sun may deteriorate faster. Solar screens may last longer due to their UV-resistant materials.

Are solar screens worth the investment in Tucson?

Yes—solar screens block up to 80% of UV rays, reduce glare, and help keep your home cooler, which can lower energy bills. They also protect furniture and flooring from sun damage.

Can you repair just the mesh instead of replacing the whole frame?

Absolutely. If your screen frame is still in good shape, we can replace only the mesh. If the frame is bent or broken, we’ll recommend a full rebuild.

Do you offer custom screen sizes for unique windows?

Yes—we specialize in custom screen builds for any window size or shape, including oversized patio windows and specialty frames.

What’s the difference between pet-resistant screens and standard screens?

Pet-resistant screens are made from stronger, tear-resistant mesh designed to withstand scratching and clawing, making them ideal for homes with cats or dogs.

What types of screen materials do you carry?

We offer solar screens in charcoal or stucco colors, standard bug screens in charcoal, gray, aluminum, or bronze, fine “no-see-um” mesh, and durable pet-proof screens.

Can screen repair be done on-site?

Yes—small repairs and single replacements are often completed on-site during your window cleaning or service appointment. Larger or custom screen projects may require us to take the screens back to our workshop.

How do I know if my screens need replacing?

Signs include visible tears, sagging mesh, faded material, bent frames, or screens that no longer fit tightly in your windows.

This depends on if your gutters are clogged and the severity of the build up inside of them. Most gutters can be cleaned in a few hours depending on the size and square footage of the home or business.

How often should I have my gutters cleaned in Tucson?

In Tucson’s desert climate, gutters should be cleaned at least twice a year—before monsoon season and after heavy winds or storms. Regular cleaning prevents clogs, flooding, and damage to your home. This will help minimize the risk of water damage to your home. Factors such as trees around your roof line may increase the need for cleanings.

How much does it cost?

Hiring a professional to clean your gutters can cost $100 to a few hundred dollars depending on the amount of gutter sections, clogs, and amount of debris.

What happens if I don’t clean my gutters?

Clogged gutters can overflow, leading to water damage, foundation issues, rotting fascia boards, and even fire hazards when dry debris builds up.

Is gutter cleaning really necessary in the desert?

Yes! Tucson’s winds carry dust, leaves, and pine needles into gutters year-round. Without cleaning, debris builds up, causing drainage problems and costly repairs.

Can I clean my gutters myself?

While some homeowners attempt DIY cleaning, it can be dangerous and time-consuming. Hiring professionals ensures safe, thorough cleaning and peace of mind.

Do you clean both gutters and downspouts?

Yes. Our service includes removing all debris, flushing out downspouts, and inspecting your gutter system to ensure everything is working properly.
